Classes and Workshops
I’ve paid a deposit online. When do I pay the balance?
The balance is payable in full at the beginning of class on the first day of the pottery course, camp or workshop.
What should I wear?
You should wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting messy.
Will we get to use a pottery wheel in class?
No, we don’t use the pottery wheel. The classes and workshops concentrate on hand building skills where you will learn to make pieces using slab, pinch and coil pottery.
Will I be able to bring home all my work at the end of the final class?
All your work will need to be dried glazed and twice fired before being ready for collection. Pieces are generally ready for collection approximately 3-4 weeks after the course or workshop finishes.
What if I cancel?
If you are unable to attend the course or workshop, please notify me via email at least 10 days before the start date and I will issue you with a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel less than 10 days before the start date I will be unable to refund your deposit unless your place can be filled.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
Yes. If you are unable to attend you can transfer your place to someone else. Just send me an email to let me know their name and contact details.
Do you take bookings for private groups?
Yes. I’m always delighted to accommodate a private group. Private group bookings must have a minimum of 6 and I can cater for up to 12 people. If you would like to make a group booking please phone or email to discuss your requirements. You can get me at hello@loughgurpottery.com or phone +353 86 331 7756.
