This medium stoneware vase is made from a slab of white stoneware clay.
It is painted with a navy slip and carved with the design before firing. It is then finished with a glossy transparent glaze. The design is inspired by the legends of Aine, Queen of the Faeries who is associated with Lough Gur and the surrounding area.
It is suitable for flowers or succulents, and would equally made a beautiful make-up brush holder.

Natural variations: Since all my products are handmade, each piece is unique and there might be slight differences between each one. Expect subtle differences in glaze thickness, colour and design between each piece of a given collection. This is expected and embraced in a handmade product. No two pieces are alike.
In some cases there may be a slight difference between the ceramics in the photograph and the ceramics you receive in your order. The photographs are taken as an example of the piece you will receive and while great care is taken to replicate the designs, each piece is hand-made and hand glazed and there will be slight differences in the recreation of that design.
